Thyroid ultrasound
The Papillon study, the largest population study in the world, carried out in Germany by the Papillon thyroid initiative, covered almost 100,000 people in work. It found that one in two working people over 45 already has a thyroid disorder. One in three has pathological changes in the thyroid that they did not know about. One in four has nodules in the thyroid.
We offer a personal thyroid check-up and the chance to find out whether a thyroid disorder may be present. The thyroid is examined painlessly using state-of-the-art ultrasound technology with mobile duplex devices. This allows findings on the structure and volume of the thyroid as well as on any thyroid nodules. A consultation with a specialist doctor follows the diagnostic part.
