Vein screening

Changes in the leg veins are very common in the population: only about 10% show no abnormalities at all, while 59% have at least spider veins and the like. The remaining 30% have more serious symptoms of chronic venous disease, such as varicose veins, fluid retention or leg ulcers. In addition, an estimated one in a thousand adults suffers a thrombosis each year, and more than 7,000 people in Germany die of a pulmonary embolism every year.

The doctors at Health Prime AG use special ultrasound devices to examine employees for abnormalities of the superficial and deep venous system and to determine their individual risk of thrombosis. All examinations are painless and free of risk, and they put no strain on the body. A medical consultation follows the examination.
